Feast day, we wonder?

Today, the 14th, July 2020 is a day of celebration in France. It symbolizes the union of the Nation.

However, in this time of crisis that affects the whole world, it is not easy for everyone to enjoy properly.

From Johannesburg, in South Africa, we would like to share with you our feeling about these last weeks. We were quite absent on social networks, because we had to face the situation, restructure, support each other with our partners, but also find a way to survive.

We know that tourism has an important impact on the economy. According to the UNWTO, the tourism sector contributes 10% of global GDP. It has direct but also indirect impacts.

Indeed, tourism encompasses different actors. Whether it be local travel agencies, transporters, accommodation, restaurants, activities, insurance companies etc … to name a few. The list is non-exhaustive!

Rille Eyes Solidarity has chosen to make you travel differently and to make you discover South Africa with your own eyes. With an authentic vision based on your own experience. We voluntarily specialized in solidarity tourism which is a tourism which contributes to the respect of local populations and which allows you to discover essential sites to visit in an unusual way, but also to browse places that you do not find in the brochure. The idea is to allow you to meet the local people as they really are, without pretence and without taboos so that you can exchange and share unique moments together. Our tourism directly benefits the local population since part of the amount of the trip is donated for them. But beyond that, we go even further, integrating them directly into certain stages of your journey.

In recent times, we have been fortunate to continue chatting with many travelers, and we realize that it is very important to be able to communicate on this travel experience that we offer you which is still a niche, even in a destination as famous as South Africa.

What is solidarity tourism? It’s our everyday creed. Travel useful and be a responsible travel to give meaning to his trip.
If you want to know more about solidarity tourism or South Africa, do not hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to chat with you.
